Did I say before the world cup that Spain has chance to be World champions and the team I support is Netherland.The finals is between Netherland vs Spain.I wish Netherland to Win.In 2006 World cup, I said France will be in Finals, even when they had 2 group bad matches were forced to win against Toga to enter last 16.

Soccer World cup is all set to begin in South Africa,yes everyone call it FIFA world cup too.Football is an another GAME in US so I better call it Soccer.Controversy started before the world cup during the qualification rounds, like the match between Ireland-France and Egypt-Algeria.This year it is hard to predict who will be the winner.Many support Argentina or Brazil but to me it looks Spain, they played as collective team -their offence was as good as their defence in European championship.I support the Orange(Netherland).
We Indians can be proud of this world cup as the ball's inner latex bladder are made in India

I want to Wish my blog readers.."Happy Newyear".Every year I start Jan 1st with a list of resolutions.But after 5th, I dont remember what those were.I read an interesting article about the address by Azim Premji ,Wipro at IIT Delhi's convocation ceremony: Keep reading,I know it is just for reading and hard to follow.
Call it 10 Premji commandments.

Lesson 1: Take charge
This was the first thought that came to me, when over four decades ago, I stepped into Wipro factory at Amalner. I was 21 and had spent the last few years in Stanford University Engineering School at California. Many people advised me to take up a nice, cushy job rather than face the challenges of running a hydrogenated oil business. Looking back, I am glad I decided to take charge instead. Essentially, leadership begins from within. It is a small voice that tells you where to go when you feel lost. If you believe in that voice, you believe in yourself. When it comes to choosing your careers, you have to take charge of your own destiny.

Lesson 2: Earn your happiness
The second lesson I have learnt is that a rupee earned is of far more value than five found. In fact, what is gifted or inherited follows the old rule of come easy, go easy. I guess we only know the value of what we have if we have struggled to earn it.

Lesson 3: Nothing succeeds like failure
The third lesson I have learnt is no one bats a hundred every time. Life has many challenges. You win some and lose some. You must enjoy winning. But do not let it go to the head. The moment it does, you are already on your way to failure. And if you do encounter failure along the way, treat it as an equally natural phenomenon. The important thing is, when you lose, do not lose the lesson.

Lesson 4: Nothing fails like success
The fourth lesson I have learnt is the importance of humility. There is a thin line of difference between confidence and arrogance. Confident people are always open to learn. A recent survey of executives in Europe showed that the single most important quality needed for leadership success was the willingness to learn from any situation. Arrogance on the other hand stops learning. It comes with a feeling that one knows all that needs to be known and has done all that needs to be done.

Lesson 5: There has to be a better way
Partly as a corollary to what I have just said, we must remember that no matter how well we do something there has to be a better way! Excellence is not a destination but a journey. Creativity and innovation sometimes need inspiration from other disciplines. It is probably not a chance that Einstein's interest in music was as much as his interest in Physics. Bertrand Russell was as much a mathematician as a philosopher. Excellence and creativity go hand in hand.

Lesson 6: Respond, not react
There is a world of difference between the two and in terms of success and failure. The difference is that the mind comes in between responding and reacting. When we respond, we evaluate with a calm mind and do whatever is most appropriate. We are in control of our actions. When we react, we are still doing what the other person wants us to do.

Lesson 7: Remain physically active
It is easy to take health for granted when you are young. I have found that exercise not only improves the quality of time but also reduces the time you need for sleep. The truth is that stress will only increase in a global world. You must have your own mechanism to deal with it.

Lesson 8: Never compromise on your core values
Mahatma Gandhiji often said that you must open the windows of your mind, but you must not be swept off your feet by the breeze. One must define what you stand for. This is not difficult. But values lie, not in the words used to describe them, as much as in the simple acts. And that is the hard part. Like someone said, "I could not hear what you said because what you did was coming out far too loud".

Lesson 9: Play to win
Playing to win brings out the best in us and in our teams. It brings out the desire to stretch, to achieve that which seems beyond our grasp. However, it is not about winning at any cost. It is not about winning every time. It is not about winning at the expense of others. It is about innovating all the time. It is a continuous endeavour to do better than last time.

Lesson 10: Give back to society
All of us have a collective social responsibility towards doing our bit to address them. Of all the challenges, the key to me is education. We have a paradoxical situation, where on the one hand we have jobs chasing scarce talent and on the other, rampant unemployment and poverty. The only way to bridge these two ends of the pole is by providing quality education that is accessible by all.

I want to Wish my readers Happy Deepavali.Today I was sitting in house most the time for oncall.It is not that I was doing something but sitting idle waiting for some abnormal activities in Client's Databases.I had time to check when I last posted in my blog.It is really been a long time.Wow,it might show me as busy man..
Busy with my own life and family where is the time for checking my own Blog.Now, almost 3-4 months later I realised there are many other things that are more important than spending all the long hours at night in front of a screen writing something that will cause me to lose many things that are more valuable.
Time for me to prove myself professionally in my career.I have great colleague's and boss at this recession time..Yes, it is lucky to have a Job.I want to be a workaholic in office and at home keep learning.Time will only tell how it will move on.I was not sure whether I am a workaholic or not.I want to be workaholic.

After the 2008 election we had seen many young MPs entering the Loksabha.TV and newspaper flashes the young MPs like Sachin pilot,Jitin Prasada,Jyoti scindia,Sandeep Dikshit,Hamidullah Sayeed,Milind Deora,Agatha Sangma,Supriya pawar,Akilesh yadav,Jayant Choudhary not to forget Varun gandhi.Read their last names again,we wil know who they are!!!!! I think in India as long as you are not relative of a politician or an actor the chances of you standing for election is negligible in any big party. Political parties dont care about grass root workers I meant DMK too..As I was going through the young MPs list,the name Meenaxi Natrajan hit me hard.Hold on..hold on..How can a south Indian win in MP.Media had reported congress was routed in Madhya pradesh,to my knowledge only Scindia and Kamal nath alone are MPs from MP. Here I go, I googled about Meenaxi Natrajan.My first guess was she might be relative of Jayathi Natrajan who is grand-daughter of Bakthvasalam but I was wrong. Meenaxi is Congress LokSabha candidate from Mandasur Constituency,She is just 36 years old. she won against BJP candidate Laxmi narayan pandey, who is 76 yrs old.He was MP from 1971 and she was born in 1973.How can the people of Mandsaur elect some one with South Indian link.Iam sure the people wont associate a “Natrajan” to be one among them.She being AICC secretary might have helped her get a seat and defeat who is more experienced then her.She seems to be social worker with no hunger for power(minister) not like others around Rahul gandhi.She had worked with Baba Amte, one of her icons apart from Anna Hazare and Sunderlal Bahuguna.After taking oath as MP,she travelled by train back to her Mandsaur carrying a tiffin box and two bags over her shoulder and dressed in a simple cotton salwar kameez.
Time for KK to make some changes in DMK..Atleast Stalin needs to wake up like Rahul to give seats for grass root workers..Why not Rahul send her to TN.Wake up Vasan,Elango,Thangablu..etc
All these days I thought to be MP you need Money or Muscle or Family. Meenaxi Natrajan proved me and many people like me wrong.

Did any one expect Philadelphia eagles to reach NFC finals..Not me..I was one of the Eagle Fans in Dec 1st week upset with the team and asking to revamp the team sacking Coach Andy reid and the Quarter back Mcnab.I was shocked when McNab said he doesnt know the rules about tie against browns.But The game against Cowboys turned around..They just scraped through the points table now eagles are knocking the door for Super Bowl.On sunday Eagles Beat the defending champion Giants in a 23-11 victory at Giants Stadium.Eagles gonna crush cardinals,the score difference will be more than 20.They are all set to fly High.Now they are the team to Watch for Super Bowl.Go Eagles Go....

Last week,I was watching in MSNBC about financial frauds in USa..From Bernard Madoff to Lehman brothers..It showed how conman cheat investors through PONZI Scheme.I said to myself this will never happen in India..As we have many Independent monitoring cells.from SEBI to Registrate of Companies working under ministry of corporate affairs to check and scrutinize wrong doing companies. We have Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which monitors the auditors work ethics cancel their membership if they do something wrong.Here comes Satyam to show we Indians too manipulate the balance sheet.After reading Raju's letter,he was clever enough to protect others and he alone be scape goat to say the employees and his family members are not aware of all the balance sheet manipulation..Hold on..Hold on..everyone who follow Stock market know that in mid 2008, it was said top executives of Satyam who were having holdings Employee shares options were selling large quantities -like 10000 -20000 shares.I pity for Raju, he is not other fraudsters like Harshad metha or Bimal Dalal to cheat the investors.He had built Satyam from scratch to one of the top companies in the world.He would have fire in his belly to do anything to reach the paramount.This idea must have been given by Auditors,not is own.The falsification of accounts by Raju for the past several years has put a question mark on the very survival of its auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The audit firm Pricewaterhouse,one of the world's top auditing firms in the wolrd.In India Pricewaterhouse is already in deep trouble in relation to its suspect auditing of the collapsed Global Trust Bank, for which it is being probed by the disciplinary committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). ICAI said they are going to punish the tainted CAs involved, why those innocent CAs who had to work and sign what their company PWC ask them to do.Instead of filing a complaint against scam-hit software exporter Satyam Computer Services for "cheating shareholders and investors".I would give ask Indian judiciary to make him as advisor member of these monitoring cells.(Just like the movie Catch me if you can).
We would be seeing similar financial frauds designed and be executed by other financial wizards to prevent this Raju needs to be advisor to Company affairs or SEBI or ICAI.The company financial records are scrutinized by independent auditors annually only after which the company balance sheets are declared. SEBI needs to be pro-active and not wait for information from newspapers and magazines.SEBI is there to protect the Investors.Forget ICICI or LIC or L&T who have more than 5% stake in Satyam individually which every newspaper talks about.What about the small investors, who must have invested their savings or retirement pension money

Right now let us leave Satyam and Raju alone.SEBI,ICAI and Company Affairs/Financial Minister of Government of India owes an explanation to the nation for allowing Fraud under their nose.

Wishing you all Happy new year.I hope we can woes of the economy aside and enjoy immense prosperity this 2009.Iam odd man out during the new year celebration..I dont remember when I was the last time I was outside during the new year celebration???That was in 2005 Newyear celebration and that was the first time too.Last year I was in Dubai celebrating in Melwyns's house with Rajesh kanna,Relesh and Melwyn's family.Time had gone so fast.The year 2008 had good and bad days,not to forget those worst days too that can never which I cant forget.When good things happen they fall in my lap. Any way 2008 was good year for me I move ahead entering 2009 with positive mindset.I hope this year will bring the best days of my life.Newyear always makes me to write a list of new year resolutions.I had never kept those,it is just in paper.This year I plan to lose weight,may be 10 pounds before Feb 10th.From my work environment side, I need to learn new something new,get more into Oracle Apps.But the goal which I need to achieve this year.Get..set for GMAT..go for it..study hard and try to get good marks which will allow me to join good Business school for part time MBA.

Wishing my blog readers Merry Christmas...Christmas was the festival I like the most though Iam not a christian,it must be bcos I studied in a christian school.The carol singing during those cold days.I used to wonder why they celebrate using Christmas tree,it is bcos the only tree that doesnt shed leaves during winter.The long winter holidays from Christmas was the best days in the year.Who hates Holidays!!New year..new beginning.!!!My parents had allowed me to be part of the celebration.There is no Christmas in my house without cakes.Iam sure my father still continues buying cakes and pastries on that day.During Christmas I always received gifts from my parents.I would call it New year gift.It is the time my Dad receives Bonus..When I ask my dad for expensive gifts he buys it for me.Yes, the real meaning of Christmas is sharing Gifts.But in USA everything looks different during the Christmas.Shopping had overshadowed the celebration of Christmas.It looks another day of thanksgiving.People forgot the birth of Christ and think about gifts.People who are materialistic and over spending must understand that the best gift Jesus received were from the shepherds and not the expensive ones from three wise men.

Today is Election day in USA.Americans dont elect president of USA,they elect the world leader.After 20 months of campaigns there are two candidates in fray.I had predicted Obama will be the next president on feb 10th 2007, you know why??Bcos he had chosen my birthday to declare his presidency.But I had expected the fight between Dennis kucinich and Ron paul.Will America choose a black man or an old man to be their next president? So sad that I cant Vote.But I was thousand's of non-Americans who voted whenever there was online/sms poll after the Debate.Now you know how Ron paul won all the Debates held online or by text message.Many wont support Obama, labeling him as terrorist or socialist but he didnt choose a dumb candidate for VP.He had chosen a VP candidate who can help him in foreigner affairs, and make USA strong and secure.Mccain says he puts Nation first.By choosing a VP candidate who dont know what is happening around her.Though he did it to get Hillary voters.How can someone compare Hillary with Pailin.How did Mccain miss Mitt Romney or Bobby Jindal.When John McCain revealed his pick for Vice President, I was certain that I wanted to support Obama and his VP Joe Biden.As they say in Philadelphia, Biden is third Senator of Pennsylvania,as Delaware needs to demand on Philadelphia from SEPTA to TV.If I were an American I would vote for Obama. I believe he’s the right man at the right time.

What a night for the Philadelphia Baseball Fans..The national game of USa..Phillies winning the world series.Though I don't belong to this city of brotherly love,I have been here for last 2 yrs and I do love this city a lot..forget the crime rate this city is crazy for sports.I don't remember the last time I was awake at 2AM in the morning to watch a sport in TV,that too sport which I dont understand.The third game went all the way till early morning on Saturday after the game was postponed for 2 hrs because of bad climate. I admire the sports loving fans.When I was in downtown I had seen proud Philadelphians showing off their city team love by wearing the green eagles or red phillies jersy to office.Championship-starved Philadelphia fans, deserve this victory.Hats off to the City of Brotherly Love and the Phillies, back in the World Series for the first time since 1983.Philadelphia has not had a champion since the NBA’s 76ers defeated the Lakers in 1983.I used to envy the cities like Boston and New york where they are in all sports finals.The Boston celtics winning the basketball NBA,the Newyork giants in football NFL and the Boston redsox in baseball MBL.But city like Philadelphia we dont see often in any of this championship.Some blame the Penn's curse for Philly’s title drought in the four major sports.It all started in 1987, when the Liberty Place skyscraper rose higher than the statue of William Penn that sits atop City Hall. Prior to that, a gentleman's agreement had been in place, mandating that no building could exceed the height of the city's founding father.When buildings arose the curse grew louder, when the Comcast tower was completed this year, the sports loving Phillies asked the mayor office to install Small Penn on the top of comcast building, and now there is small penn in the comcast tower.Let me talk like Philles Phan,using all P words.Yes, it is Phantastic phinish for Phillies,and the Phans love it,It's Phandemonium after Phils won the title after there was tension in downtown during the victory celebration.Windows were smashed at a bank and luggage store in the downtown shopping district. At least two cars were overturned, the windows of a TV van were smashed, dozens of huge streetside planters were flipped over and some bus shelters were damaged or destroyed.How can a day go without violence in this city of brotherly love.This Phriday Phillies are gonna have Victory Pharade in Phroad street.For my readers in India..Viswanathan Anand retained the world title with a draw against Russian Vladimir Kramnik in the World Chess Championship final in Bonn, Germany.Where are the oldies Kaprov and Gary Kasparov.They are in Russian Politics.Can any one tell me how many seconds help Anand,last time I got news He plays with 4 seconds..Second in chess means Assistants to help him in game.

GO PHILLIES..Gooo..It would sound crazy that a non-American like me rooting for a sport like Baseball which I had never played till today..Like many Sports loving Philadelphians I had being following Baseball from last year when Phillies won the East cost Division after Newyork Yankees lost 6 games in a row.Out of 4 sports the Americans are crazy about with their city franchises--Baseball,Football,Basket ball and Ice hockey.. I follow the two imporant games--Baseball and American football.Before coming to USA,I know only about Basketball teams, that too Lakers,Chicago Bulls,Houston Rockets.Every weekend I make sure I watch the Phillies baseball and Eagles football matches.Last year when I was in down town Philadelphia, when they were playing Colorado Rockies for the national league the whole city had turned Red.Even some establishments had holiday for the first match.This year Phillies are National League champions and all set to win the world series.If you guys dont know Major League Baseball, ask me in person or mail or by phone.There are two groups National League and American League the champions meet to decide the World series winners.The two famous teams Boston redsox and Newyork Yankees are in American League.That doesnt mean low level teams play in National league.Last time Phillies won the world series in 1980,that was 28yrs back.This time they need to win it.Philadelphians are so crazy about their team, when they lost their 10000 match last year,only franchise to lose 10000 matches.But the Phans(fans) were behind their team.. Let the 80 repeat in 08.Today is the fifth match out of seven, and the Phillies lead 3-1 against the finalist Tampa bay Rays.Go Phillies Go.. Win the World Series Championship..Paint the city RED.

Iam back Updating my blog after a long time.There were so many emails,phone calls and many had asked me in person why I had not updated my profile for a long time.Friends like Binu in Dubai had opened my blog page and disappointed that it is not getting updated.Oh NOOO..I was busy with my new job..new place and had no time to think of doing something interesting--Yes,writing blog is something interesting to jump from the bored life..From politics side I was also upset that McCain didn't choose Mitt Romney and Obama didnt choose Kathleen..But I expected one of the candidate had chosen a woman as his running mate..I was atleast close to some guess..Last time it happened when I was rooting Indian VP to be a woman.But our law makers had elected a woman as president,was that great.It is true that what I say don't happen.Yes,it makes me not to give any vague comment for what will happen in future. Corn is not Oil

In USa cost of everything had increased in last 6 months.I meant drastically. Still I don’t understand why the cost of Oil is increasing it is something available just needs to be drilled and pumped out.. we all know who is directly involved in increasing the price. Dick Cheney who was Halliburton Director would be the best person to answer. Though Stock market is so volatile in Wall street, all the oil companies or you call it Energy companies shares had increased 5 folds..Iam sure the OPEC countries wont like to see this Oil price shooting Up. I still remember the words said by King Fahd in 1986 when OPEC countries decided to increase the price of Crude oil..I quote " If the oil price shoots up then Developed countries will invest more into alternate energy once they find alternative to oil. then oil will be waste like sand. Our countries are driven by exporting crude oil,let us not increase the price”. Who is responsible for this Increase? Blame it on BUSH. You can see this oil price touching no where after IRAQ Invasion. Every one knows IRAQ was occupied for OIL. Now Shia-Sunni-kurds Tension makes oil price to go North..
This year we heard of food shortage all over the world. Bush blamed High Demand in India and China had led to Food shortage. Even he blamed the high cost of Food stuffs in USa to India. come on, the cost of Pizza had increased because corn grown in Ohio, the mid-west region are used for Ethanol production to add into Gas(petrol)..Once the cost of Corn increases, the cost of cattle fed increases which led to increase in milk cost this led to shift in cheese cost...So the cost of Pizza cost folded to 30% increase.
Why not the American Government forget Ethanol and all those alternate fuel...Talk with the OPEC countries find why there is increase in Oil..I am sure oil is available in the ground there is no need for produce it or grow it. So why there need to be increase in price. I dont understand it. We need to put an Full stop to the Speculators, arrest them and put them under bars. America is known for Companies like ENRON. how they speculated the energy utility cost in 2000-2003.It is time America looks at Middle east than mid-west. If they continue to use Corn based Ethanol for Alternate oil. Every food stuff is gonna increase

Glenn McGrath's wife, Jane passes away

It is rare to see famous cricketers without controversy,I meant off field..Shane warne is known for that..Being an Aussie Mcgrath is a gem of a man when it comes to his personal life...He spent most of his earning for his wife's treatment.She had many cancers in her body from breast to bone..She was fighting for her life for the last 10 yars.Few years back she had Brain tumour too..During all this phase Mcgrath was big support for her..
Jane was first diagnosed with breast cancer during Australia's Ashes tour of England in 1997 then bone cancer in her hip in 2003 but made a full recovery both times.
She was then diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour in 2006, prompting McGrath to take eight months off cricket to care for her and their two young children while she was undergoing radiotherapy.
He returned to the team later that year to help Australia regain the Ashes from England and win the World Cup for a third time in succession before announcing he was retiring despite still being at the top of his game.
Many say he retired early during peak of his career to be with his Wife's side..
Umm..On Field sledging between him and Saran shows how much he cared for his Wife..
Next Imran would be Mcgrath who will create a foundation for cancer patients.

Do the Security staffs look Brown skin with suspicion???What they show in Movie is not a Joke, Any way we all take it as good humour.The scene where Kal penn(brown skin guy) is stopped by TSA guys -Airport security screening in the movie "Harold in Kumar 2" happens to any brown skin guy not only in airports but any security screening places.Till today in USa I was stopped two times and asked to step aside during security screening..Last time when I was asked to step aside I was really hurt..It happened When I was passing through the security to statue of Liberty Ferry. I was checked and rechecked by the hand detector also my bag though there was no beep sound when I passed through..Before entering the Security arena the Guy before me put his small swiss knife in one his cargo pockets ..When he passed, there was beep sound tooo..But the security guy never cared.. Last time it happened in the airport.I was really hurt by the treatment given by the TSA .when people who passed before me had beep sound,carried liquids in their bags no one care and they passed out.I had removed my shoes,belt,valet also my mobile so there must be no beep sound..When I gave my Boarding pass, the lady said STEP ASIDE SIR..The guy near the X-ray machine say -IDENTIFY YOUR BAGGAGE SIR..I pointed my bag,and my laptop.The roller stopped for 2mins.TSA guys checked and checked staring at the X-ray monitor. I was asked to go inside a Glass room.. With Hand help detector I was checked from head to feet..again from feet to head..again from head to feet..As I stood by raising my hands Up..I can see all other passengers staring at me...They opened my bag..checked again...I felt really bad the way I was treated..TSA guys have all rights to check any passengers they suspect, but I was upset when they took me inside a glass room where everyone can see what happening.When I was screened all other passengers are staring at me..Why not they take me into closed room.TSA guys do a great job in airport but they need to change the way they do it..So other passengers dont stare at innocents like me who are just checked.In future I am sure when I passed through any security checking I will be asked.---STEP ASIDE SIR.

Iam one of the millions who admire him as true Political Journalist.He is straight to ask questions and he is not baised to any parties.I had seen many political journalist trying to side with high place politicians who can help them get top post in white house.His Death on friday morning is a big shock to me, he is young and dynamic always with a smiling face. When I was a small kid those old days in Saudi when I go there for Vacation, I will pester my parents to buy me a Keyboard when I see that in the malls.They would always say It is not for You..They want me to concentrate in the books .If they had bought me one, I would been like AR.Rahman-heee..What is wrong in dreaming!!!When I was in Dubai I bought a small keyboard but my mother gave to someone as gift without my knowledge. The photo above is taken by me in 2004 in the first digital camera I bought it was my first shot too..I was really amazed with this advt,the full building of 21th century tower in Sheik Zayed Road was displayed with statue of Liberty-"Non stop to JFK'..I used to show the photo to my friends saying "Liberty in Dubai"...But I had a question in mind how can a plane fly for 14hrs nonstop from Dubai to NYC.It is not about passengers sitting for 14hrs but about the flight engine, the cooling system the mechanical system involved in it..There were lot of bubbles in my head about this non-stop flight..Will there be one pilot for 14hrs???..what happens if he sleep!!!What happens if something goes wrong in the middle of Atlantic ocean!!!!when I planned to come down to India..I decided to take the JFK-Dubai flight... The plane Airbus A320 is amazing.. Many World wide magazines rate Emirates to be the best Airline..But I dont!!!!The best airlines doesnt mean in in flight entertainment and the best drinks you get..Being a teetotaller I dont care.. Emirates has worst cabin crews,--Rude,Racist and Rough..Just because they have beautiful cabin crews doesnt mean they are the best....During my return journey to US, in Chennai I was made to wait 2hrs for check-in..Even the ground staff is Rude...My past experience with Emirates also sucks.In 2003 I flew from Chennai to Dubai it was the worst experience..I want to ask who the heck has rated it the Best airline....Please stand up...I would give double thumbs-down to this over rated airlines..If you want to fly in Emirates fly in Bussiness class or dont..

First time after 1970 the Democrat Debate for presidential election was held in Philadelphia, Drexel university which is just 2 blocks from my house..I went there to have glimpse of all the Democrat candidates..Among the Democrat candidates I admire Dennis Kucinich..His policies are great and I had stated about him in my past blogs.But he doesnt have chance to make a impact.In all ways he cant stand above all candidates.I didnt mean the height-hee....Let me make something clear-America is not ruled by parties it is ruled by an individual, who can have his own set of principles.There is a candidate who sounds better then all presidential candidates both democrat es and Republicans..If I were American I would vote for Ron Paul.My new Hero..None of the Democrats said we were attacked because of our bad foreign policy.He said landing in Iraq was wrong..He is a Republican who doesnt sound like one..I was really surprised to note that he belongs to Bush party but has different theory.But don't forget republicans were elected for ending Korea war and Vietnam war..I too carried Ron paul card but I changed to "ONE-Make Poverty History" card and stood behind Chris mathew- MSNBC,My face was flashed in MSNBC.

Though Iam not American,I wish he becomes US president to make this World a peaceful place.When I stood there I could feel many youngsters showing interest to know about Ron paul.Doctor by profession,he served in airforce ,Congress member for 10 terms.If all goes well his VP nominee will be Hagel another Miltary veteran.America must choose Soldiers who had protected their land and not the person who ran away from war.They made mistake last time in rejecting Kerry.

Kimi did it..I don't know how many thought Kimi would be the driver's champion for 2007 F1 circuit..Being fan of Kimi Raikkonen I had been telling all these months that Kimi would top among all..Trailing Lewis Hamilton by 26 points at one stage, Raikkonen clinched the title after winning the Brazilian Grand Prix. Though it was always competition between Alonso and Hamilton..The Rivalry among the Mclaren drivers cant be said as chance for Kimi to Top..He had done 6 finishes, though Hamilton and Alonso had done only 4.My friend Kumar who was fan of Massa was predicted Kimi doesnt deserve to be in ferrari wheels.There were few who had criticised Him for being so cool before driving and not fit to be F1 driver, as most F1 drivers are arrogant and wanna crush their opponents both in track and off track.This FINN Ice man is known to keep his cool and made the wheels do all talking.Though he won the Australian Grand prix,but he had bad patch after that, there were rude waves from Ferrari fans asking Schumi to come back from retirement and take kimi's seat as they felt the drivers competition is gonna be between the Mclaren drivers.Also He was doing lot of mistakes and didnt complete most of the races..When u get the best car u need to be among the top..Yes, I am great fan of Kimi Raikkonen and I would be happy if he can change his life style.It is not gonna be easy next year.It is race of man+machine.. Australian cricket team touring India, had blamed the Indian crowd of making racist comments on one of their black colored player Symonds..Next day International cricket board-ICC asked for racism report from Indian cricket board.Does it sound funny.WE have a cricket umpire Hair who want to see White supremacy in Cricket and tried to crush all asian Players by his stupid decison..where was ICC when Ausies fans make fun of Asians and other dark colored players..In 2005 racist taunts were directed at South African players during their match against Australia and of other taunts directed at Sri Lankan players in Adelaide during a one-day international in January 2006. It is sad to see some of the most “RACISTS” people coming from down under and blaming Indians to be Racists. I had been to many nations and India alone treats all section of people with respect.As an Indian I and my country men in no way look down others by culture, creed or race. And a tag like RACIST is no less than Insult to this great country..We have had people of all religions and races fighting for freedom when British ruled us, and now when the aussies have called us THE RACISTS, we are not going to spare them for this.
It is now time that we should join hands together, despite all the differences in caste religion etc and give a meaningful reply to the Australians that we are Indians and NO Racists.

In USA company BALCO manufactures undetectable, performance-enhancing steroid since 1988(even Carl lewis took it in Seoul Olympics)...I had been great follower of Olympics till the Sydney 2000.In Olympics all eyes were mainly on Track and field events..In Sydney it was more of ladies supremacy, the talks about Merlene Ottey,Marion Jones and Cathy freeman .Ottey was favourite to win 100m and 200m..But Jones told the press she wont leave Sydney without 5 Gold medals.That time I admired Jones self-confidence and her urge to win the gold.Yes,She was the winner of five medals at the 2000 but not 5 gold...2004 in athens was sad for her,she finished 6th in long jump just above Anju george and in relay the team faultered.Recently she was seen practicing for 2008 olympics.Jones claimed that winning the gold medal at the 2008 Olympics is her "ultimate goal".Her cute smile is really her trademark..On 5th October, Jones admitted of having taken steroids before the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics. As a result of these admissions, she is banned for 2 years. The United States Anti-Doping Agency stated that the sanction also requires disqualification of all her competitive results obtained on and subsequent to Sept. 1, 2000, and forfeiture of all medals, results, points and prizes.It must be really sad for this great athlete. where did she go wrong..I guess without these drugs she would have been always a champion. I dont think ottey deserve to get the gold as she was second in Sydney,even she was caught for doping dont know why the relay team need to give their medal,it was team effort. If Olympic committee decides to take back the gold from all the 4 runners, then in Soccer too if one player is caught for doping the whole team need to be punished.
I dont consider Jones as disgraced athlete..She needs support,care and comfort words from the American public and well wishers all over the world..These words from her heart outside the court room made me sad-- "...with a great amount of shame...I stand before you and tell you that I have betrayed your trust...and you have the right to be angry with me... Oh...Boy..well I remember those lyric of those old English song..I dont need to be Bryan Adams to talk about it..Puting everthing together the definition I get is...Love as CARE,CONCERN and COMPROMISE. For Love to go ahead in all turbulence there must be lot of Compromise.One can run across the universe to prove how much that person love the other, and yet, the other may think that such sacrifice is just not enough for one reason on another..The secret to a happy marriage is, of course, love. When people talk about having the happy marriage, they are talking about being around the one they love as much as possible. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.

I dont consider DMK's protest fast as contempt of the court..Satyagraha is followed by Gandhi, he showed his way of silent protest.Now KK has more enemies then friends but still the People of Tamil nadu are behind him..What was the Supreme Court doing when the Karnataka Government openly defied the Supreme Court's verdict to release Cauvery Water to TN?. What it was doing when the Kerala Government defied the Court's verdict to raise the storage level of Mullai Periyar dam to 146 feet? What curse did we Tamils do to get all Blame..We tamils too respect the Judicary system in High Esteem. Will the BJP and AIDMK Abstain From Any Strike in Future,Can they give in Writing.Being Atheist KK must stop bashing about Hindu Gods.He must look for easy ways to mend fences with enemies.. Many non-Tamils ask me.Why is KK looked up with so much respect by tamils when rest of Indians consider him as Demon..For Tamils--He is protector of Minorities,the scheduled casts and the backward class people.. But I dont support his scheme of reservation for minorities.To be dividing people among religion is against constitution and not good for the secular fabric of the country.But Iam supporter of Caste based reservation..For all those who are part of anti-reservation..I ask them to compare Bihar,Orissa and Uttarpradesh with Tamil nadu.. The development in Tamil nadu is due to high skilled Human work force..and not due to Climate or external factors.. TamilNadu is one of the most successful state and We are taking care of integrity of Tamilnadu and improving it technically in all ways.Where as I see majority of high caste people who come down to USa from other part of India.We can see parity of wealth in Tamilnadu.Here people dont divide their name by Caste..Yes,Most of the people in India dont want reservations..But are they ready to drop their caste name.. Sports in India has taken a new turn..May be after seeing the movie "Chak de India" players are charged up, thanks to Sharukh khan.It looks the team spirit plays a important role after watching the movie..First it was football, then hockey and now cricket. But the Women's hockey was crushed by China and Japan,forget that,let us see something going positive in Indian sports.. But I would rate Anup Sridhar achievement in world cup badmition as the proud moment for me as Indian..Today India won against pakisthan in T-20 World cup.. These young guns played a great game..After world cup exit in March,I talked of youngesters as best bet for furure Indian cricket..My new look Indian team had most of the players who played in this T-20.. I was bit Skeptical to Dhoni, as he played bad cricket in Westindies.Now Dhoni is the captian for Indian team and Iam happy that epi centre of cricket has moved away from Mumbai and Delhi to a new place Jharkand.. Any way Big thanks to Agarkar for not playing crucial matches, or else with his wides and no-balls any team can beat us..The match was really worth to watch.Nail biting finish..It was more or less like pendulum.. Match was in India side then pakisthan's side.See-Saw battle till the last over..No one can predict who will win till the lastball was bowled..sorry I meant till the last catch was taken.But I was surprised when Pakisthan Captain said-- " I want to thank muslims all over the world"...Iam a muslim and I didnt support Pakisthan..not only me.. 140 million Indian muslims didnt support pakisthan.. I am sure number of muslims supported India was more then Number of muslims supported Pakisthan..The two pathan brothers enjoyed crushing pakisthan...Come on Shoaib, what has happened to you..Why u want to bring religion to sports.. Staying near University city looking at the labs and other infrastructure for Students,I wonder the quality of Education in USa is far better then India..I dont know about others,I studied engineering without any practical knowledge.My studies were more into getting pass mark and not apply my brain to understand the concepts.It is stupid to say that 4yrs of engineering studies didnt give me the job Iam doing now.. the 6 months Course had given me this IT engineer status.Though 30% of graduate students in USa are either from India or china.But many countries say India is best place to study.. The team needs someone who can take care of the problems whether they are technical or psychological." And not some one who brings division"...Yes,I support Foreign coach.
Best bet right now is Martin Crowe.India needs a coach like him who can take the back seat and make the players drive.Everyone know Martin is selfless player never went back of Captaincy. Person who is cool,calm and collected.Certified as the Tough batsman to bowl by Wasim Akram and Ambrose.Great cricketer, Who will forget the 1992 worldcup, when he took Kiwis till the semis..Person with variety of ideas.He brought in Deepak patil as opening bowler,made Greatbatch as aggressive opener-pitch hitter, Introduced Chris Harris with wicket to wicket bowling.When Le-Germon was captain he was the experienced player,but ready to play second fiddle and gave all support for him..He doesnt mind bringing water and instruction to the batsman which was suppose to do by substitutes or new players.

Another Visit to the capital

Last weekend I was in Big apple,this weekend I was in Washington Dc..I had already informed kumar that I will be spending the Weekend with him.Though he was busy, he still had time for me..Munaff my Bangalore friend is in NJ for that last 3 week and he said he will be in Philadelphia on friday night..On Saturday morning we started to Dc..I had driven till Baltimore many times so I didnt have any problem.As usual I got lost in Baltimore.Following the route North or south gives me headache..also Munaff is not good navigator..

Reached Virgina around 1:00PM..With kumar went to thai Restaurant for lunch..Food was great, I guess cooking in my native place and thai cooking had some similar ties..As Burmese cook work is still followed in my native place.But in one word I love thai dishes better then Chinese..Took Munaff to Federal triangle..We went by Subway, I dont wanna get lost in DC roads.. We went to Capitol building,White house and Washington monument..

Went back to Kumar house around 10:00Pm.Next day didnt do much.. started from Virgina around 2:00 PM..went straight to Munaff's place in NJ.. Oh Boy, it took 7 hrs..Though it must be 4hrs drive..Traffic was too much...Slept in Munaff's place..started early morning around 5:30 and I was in Philadelphia 8:00... Left the Car in the Enterprise rent a car office..thank god they gave me ride back to my house.. dont know where I will go next week..

Trip to Big Apple(NY)

Thursday I had decided to visit Newyork city on saturday, as I was so bored to be alone on weekends.Ever since I arrived in Philadelphia, visit to Newyork was first in my list..I was sure it will take more then a day to see all the places in NYC..I looked at the NYC map to get idea places near by.Statue of Liberty was the first structure in USa I know when I was young.New York City is a global hub of international business and commerce and is one of the command centers for the world economy.SO I had decided to see Wall streeet(NEW YORK stock exchange) and The Brooklyn Bridge, one of the oldest suspension bridges in the world .All these are near by and within walkable distance.When I see the serial FRIENDS, it shows the Bridge as icon of NYC..I had decided to see these places and return back to Philadelphia before 10 PM. I was not interested in night life of NYC.Same time I was afraid whether I will get lost in NYC..not to forget the city known for crime.
I started from my house at 8:00 AM to china town, expecting to catch the 8:30 AM China town bus to NY..But I can catch only 9 AM bus.These bus which ply from Philly chinatown to NY china town are soo cheap..just 20$ for return journey..Trust me, if you go by car,you would be paying more than that for toll alone..I arrived in NY chinatown at 11 AM, I was wondering how to go to Statue of Liberty from there..
All I know is I need to reach battery park to catch the ferry for statue of Liberty..I went to the nearest Subway station which is East broadway station..I got one day pass for 7$ from the vending machine.I enquired with Chinese there, but none were able to explain..I saw an American born Indian,and he asked me to take M9 bus, which will take me to Battery park..I came up from the subway and saw the time of Bus M9 in the chart it was at 11:37AM and time was 11:30...I got into the M9 bus from chinatown and got down in battery park... Oh..No..There was a longggg queue,I wondered when I would go inside the ferry...Opps that was Queue for persons who already bought ticket...TO get a ticket there was another big queue in clinton fort which is divided into 4 stalls.Standing for ticket made me half tired..I didnt have breakfast and I was wondering why is this bigg mess to enter an Island not even the top of Statue of Liberty..After 45 mins,Iam back in the Queue for boarding the ferry.There was security checkup before boarding, the security guy made me to empty all my pockets though it was empty but allowed the white guy before me to just walk through, he was wearing Cargo..This is the problem with brown skin...-heeee...When I reached the Liberty island I was fully tired. I had the view of Manhattan from the Island...It was awesome..I was sad that I didnt come early to go up to the balcony or pavement of the statue of Liberty.Before 9.11 they had allowed public to enter the torch and view from there.I went to the resturant,Again another line for food..I had lunch -fish and fries which was good..I came back to Newyork mainland around 3:00PM..I saw smoke from one the tall buildings there.. There were lots fire engine in all directions..I asked for direction to WTC one lady pointed to the fire and said near that.On the way I saw Wall street sign..and I took pics in front of New york stock exchange..I remembered the words Buffet had made.In wall street to get advice the rich investors come in Benz and Jaguars and the persons who advice them commute by Subways..Though they give their advice make others rich, those who advice dont even own a car and need to travel by trains.This is the capitalist AMerica ....Knowing about derivative market, I wanna work in wall street someday..I dont know when my dream will come true.The area around WTC had chemical smell bcos of the fire next to WTC,the 17 floor fire in an abandoned building,and fire fighters were fighting to put off the fire.. I took pic in front of WTC site..and had talk with those guys who give the fliers-- " The real story of 9/11"...They try to say it was crime within USA..If anyone need more details see the site-- http://www.wearechange.org/.I had filafel in one of the way side eateries, It didnt have the taste like those yummy filafels in dubai..Any way Jewish filafels taste are different I guess..I asked the cops the way to The Brooklyn Bridge..again another 30 mins walk..It was terrific bridge,I missed seeing its beauty in the night time.. It took thirteen years to build it and was open to public in 1883.I took the bus M9 back to china town around 7PM..As there was fire in downtown area, most of the streets were
closed, and he was not taking the regular route.The driver was so nice to me, when I told him I need to go chinatown and Iam new to NY..The bus went all around the NY down town.. and I arrived in Chinatown area around 8:10 PM..It was worth trip..to see view of Saturday night from the Bus..I got into the 8:30PM Philly bus..and back to my house at 11:00 PM..Trip to Big apple is worth every penny..sorry cent..

Again another visit to NYC soon.I need to go and see the other side.. Times Square,UN building,Empire state building.

One of the reasons why other sports had not got its weightage in India is due to the Sports Journalista....Come on, please forget Cricket, Beating England is not a big deal...Allowing Team like Scotland to score 204 is shame on you Guys.But these Journalist will praise Indian cricket team as if they are the world champions-Still with Same playing 11 which played in WC,sucks---But there is something to talk about in Badmition..Iam proud of Anup Sridhar.. Sridhar, who outclassed Olympic gold medalist Taufiq Hidayat in the WC.. I know Taufiq is tough nut to crack..I salute this dude for his achievement..None of the Indian Newspapers cared much about him..
But Jakarta-Post made it a headlines-- "Indonesia's Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat has suffered a major upset, losing to little-known Anup Sridhar in the World Badminton Championship"..Let us not forget Anup is not the National Champion.The shutlers from India are fighting for the top spots which is an encouraging sign in Indian sports..Iam sure in Bejing there will be medal for us in Badmition..Not to forget Sania Navel..Thanks to Academy started my Prakash Padukone and Gopi chand..One in Bangalore and another in Hyderabad had produced top class players..This healthy competition among the former players in coaching is worth to mention. If you are wearing gloves, the iPhone’s virtual keypad won’t work. That’s a concern for winter time phone calls in cold areas in USa.. Apple is smart in this...just imagine iphone during winter!!!!!!!
I compared iphone with my Mobile and found why it will be failure... :

Cant change the battery..Need to send back to Apple.who will pay for the Postal???

No games.
No capacity for over-the-air calendar appointments.
No IM. Gotta use text messaging.

But I was surprised to see this news in Entertainment program-Access Hollywood and not in sports news..It said Victoria and her husband arrived in LA...Posh was smart enough to make a reality show -Victoria Beckham coming to America..Many here know that the arrival of Beckham's will be news..As Victoria was busy looking for new mansion which shoot the real estate market in LA.Thanks to Tom cruise and Katie they helped them to settle down in LA..After all David Beckham has come down to spend his retirement life..or jump into Hollywood.. Americans look him as Style Icon and not as soccer star.I dont know how many here know ADu, who is suppose to be child wonder in soccer..
No one here cares for football players..football sorry Soccer has a long way to go in USA.Except the South americans,the Hispanic and some Italian descendants no one follows about Socccer.. I am watching the COPA cup matches in Spanish(mexico) channel none of the top english channels even discuss about it. Two important sports took place today in England.. The Gentleman lawn tennis Wimbledon and F1 Silver stone UK Prix... I had said in my previous blogs that Nadal and Fedder will meet again..and it happened.. Federer won in 5 sets.. match to WATCH... I never expected Nadal to give tough time for Fedder in grass court.. Great day for Ferrari ... Again I had said Kimi need to show some podium finishes...Kimi did it in silver stone second consecutive wins after France Grand prix.. what a race it was... The crowd favourite was Lewis Hamilton..hold on.. I dont know how many British Drivers are there in F1... I guess 5.. but except Hamilton rest all are not worth to mention.. It was Hamilton who started in Pole.. but kimi took lead in 15th lap.. then Alonso took lead ..again it was Kimi,.. Massa started from pit.. But zoomed ahead of all the drivers.In this first 3 laps he was over taking all drivers right left and centre.. it was funny to watch..He finished 5th...Kubica was ahead of him...Great for this Polish guy..No one will belive that he was alive after the Montral Grand prix..He might be in Ferrari or Mclaren wheels soon..Kimi coming first, Alonso next followed by the Super kid Lewis... It must be bad day for Spanish in England.. Nadal lost to Fedder and Alonso finishing second to Kimi...Great day for Women's tennis they now get same money what men's get in Wimbledon... It looks rubbish... Fedder has to play 5 sets and Venus plays plays 2 sets and get equal amount...what to do.... that is Equal Gender treatment...

Taj mahal was one among the seven wonders. but the total number of votes it received was not disclosed. One among the 77 was -- Madurai Meenaxi temple.. I rate Madurai Meenaxi Temple above Taj-Mahal.. Even the Philadelphia Art Museum rates it the best architecture in Asia..There was no doubt about the beauty of Taj and it's standing as a tourist attraction site... But when you rate as wonders of the world we need to judge the era it was built..Looking at Pyramid,Greatwall of China.. Meenaxi temple is on that list. The splendid marvel of the gopuram cant be compared to any other masterpiece in India..
I dont know why Bipasha Basu was representative for Taj Mahal with Agra mayor.. I feel Priyanka Chopra as the right person to be there.. She was former miss.World and her native place is near to Agra..She would have more attachment to Taj then to Basu..

4th July is the independence day of America...Philadelphia is the first capital of USA..and the place where the Declaration of Indepedence was signed .It was great to be here on this day..

Philadelphia had lots of events the whole day... I planned to go and watch the fireworks in the night.. On seeing the program about Concert on TV, I decided to be there live to watch.. The concert started....But it rained heavily...any way there is saying in USa.. Rain or Shine the Events go on.... The nature fireworks started... Lightning and Thunder... Opps, We waited till 11:00 PM...but and the organisers said the fireworks was cancelled.. soo sad..

But once I reached room... They started the fire works around 12 midnight.. and I can watch it only in TV...

iphone is looked as the biggest hype next to second coming of Jesus. Apple considers it the best product it ever made. Ever since Stev Jobs showed to the world iPhone, People down here were awaiting when iphone will come to market..On June 29 iphone hit the market...There was long line in Apple showrooms as people were waiting for hrs to get the first touch of iPhone..The gadget, which combines the functions of a cell phone, iPod and wireless Web browser..Though Iam a Tech Savy,I dont think I need a iphone.will I use all the features in that..or do I need all the features???When Motorola showed the world the Razr, I was more interested in that..But I still feel Nokia 6230 the best of all phones I used..Iam not the one who wants a gadget to be over packed with many features.This sexy 3.5-inch gadget is not for me.. More over I am not more into touch screen.I like with Physical key pad..If your someone looking only for Tele-communication(phone talking) then it is not for you..You can't type in names to quickly bring up someone from the contact list.No voice recognition also means that calling a number is a six-step process..

They have Nokia and Ericcson to think about..America doesnt create equal playing field.Motorola can be leading mobile seller only in USa.. that is by making the service providers like (AT&T and T-mobile) to sell the Phone in subsidized rate..I can say Nokia is far..far better then Motorola, but many in USA dont know that... How many know Nokia N series can be used to access Wi-fi..May be Asians on seeing American market might buy iPhone, but Apple cant stay in the market for long time..I dont think they can hold 2% of world market not taking in USA market..One bullish Wall Street analysts have predicted sales could hit as high as 45 million units in two years.--That's nuts.. Fencing- Physically active & Mentally sharp

When I was in Dubai I had time to be physically fit- visiting health club three times a week, playing soccer on Thursdays..But in USa,life style was different, during winter I never had any out door activities. So I body was in bad shape. Last month I joined Gym, and felt bored running on the treadmill and doing some weights. I shifted outdoor--I jogged near the art museum(Just like the movie Rocky) and on the down town areas. To keep myself mentally active I joined for Yoga classes. Those classes made me inactive. I really cant concentrate and I decided to jump out. American Yoga classes are different and not for guys like me. Another waste of money. Do you know they had patented the Yoga steps too-(sounds foolish)..Last week I read in a health magazine that Fencing makes you mentally sharp and Physically active--It says fencing develops concentration, tactical and strategic thinking, and perseverance. As you need to think fast,use your hands and move your legs in the smartest way.Fencing is not all about sword fight, it is something more..Here I go..I called those guys enquired whether they have any beginners course for Adults..well their course fees is quite high..Any way I will drop by to that place this weekend and join immediately.You can check my blog in future for more details about fencing. Before that I need to check my Visa power...

F1 US GP Live from Indianapolis

Supporting for Ferrari:

It is always my dream to watch the Fast cars in action. I was more thrilled to see the Formula 1 race live from the stadium in Indianapolis...When I was in Dubai, I planned to fly down to Bahrain for Grand prix there, but dropped out as I know watching alone will be boring. I consider Indianapolis as Mecca of Formula 1,as most sponsors have their Head office in USA..I am Ferrari supporter this year, as Kimi Räikkönen belongs to that team.I changed from Mclaren to Ferrari..I was all in red with Ferrari Flag and Ferrai cap.I had bigg flag with a pole that no one came near me as I was disturbing their view..Before the start I was disappointed as Mclaren cars will start 1st and 2nd..But Massa and Kimi are not far behind and they might create upsets.. Ferrai had won most of the time in Indianapolis.Climate was Hot and dry with 36C.

Race all set to begin:

Lap1: As they say 90% of the race is won on the first lap..Lewis had a great start followed closely by Alonso.In the very first turn David Coulthard, Ralf Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello were forced to retire due to accidents.Oh..No.. Kimi is in 6th umm.. I guess 7th.. It is all over..He will have more traffic to control..72 more laps to go and I was wondering what is in Kimi's mind..
Lap 21: Hamilton, Massa and Heidfeld all in pit.Kimi need to use this lap to come ahead..
Lap 24: Kimi for the first pit
Lap 28: Kimi passes Heidfeld, that was really great to watch..still he is 7th.. Hamilton still in the lead.
Lap 38: It was best of all laps, Alonso was so close to Hamilton just .2 sec ahead. He was side by side with him..But Hamilton defends successfully. The whole crowd were in their feet..
Lap 40: Rosberg pits and has some problem and loses some time from 4th he is 10th.
Lap 41: Kimi is 6th.
Lap 42: Kimi is 5th
Lap 45:Hamilton leads Alonso by 1.1s. Massa is third, with Kimi behind him.
Lap 49: Kimi sets fastest lap: 1m13.117s now very close to Massa.
Lap 51: Kimi goes for second pit.Even Hamilton is in the pit.
Lap 58: 15 laps to go, Hamilton leads by 2.0s. Massa is 15.5s behind the leader and working hard to keep team-mate Kimi away... I hope Kimi comes third.
Lap 60: The order was Hamilton leading Alonso by 1.8 seconds followed 13.4 seconds further back by Massa, with Raikkonen within a second.
Lap 68: Williams Engine was on fire..It was in front of us.The driver Nico Rosberg pulling off.
Lap73:Crowd in their feet all eyes at the checked flag.. Hamilton is the winner followed by Alonso ..3rd is Masa..followed closly by Kimi..
Hamilton scores his second straight F1 win, by 1.5s from Alonso. The English rookie leads the title race by 10 points.

Kimi finished 4th...bad time for Ferrari:

Lots of Union Jack flying around.As Hamilton and Mclaren are from UK..I dont know whether English fans down here or Americans support English. Any way Mclaren too must be happy to increase their lead.Brazil flags too can seen as most Latinos will be supporting Massa.
But it was shocking to see Polish flags almost everywhere, more visible then Ferrari and Mclaren flags...Robert Kubica is first polish F1 driver, though he didnt drive after major crash in Montreal.Cards carrying the message "Get well soon" .."Kubica see you in france" can be seen everywhere.. I guess he had the most number of Fans in Indianapolis. Though he was not one the drivers..
Thank GOd, Ferrari was in the podium, or else it would been shame for me..
I see lots of changes next year.. I dont see Kimi will be Ferrari.Though his contract is till 2009..He might move to Renault and Alonso will be moving to Ferrari or Ferrai might bring back Micheal Schumacker from retirement or Nico Roseberg.. Kimi was given the best car and best tyres but he made lots of mistakes in the last 4 circuits. In F1 you need to be Ruthless look at Micheal Schumacker or Alonso they not only win they crush their opponents…Kimi seems to be cool and soft guy, so he can have lots of fans but he cant be winner all the time. I dont see David Coulthard,Ralf Schumacher to be driving next year.. New drivers might get chance..
It is almost sure, Indianapolis wont be in 2009 calendar..Formula 1 executives feel, Americans more interested in Nascars and Indy 500.
Though Indianapolis had mixed crowd, I dont see any Afro-Americans... I am sure Hamilton victory might bring in more Afro-Americans to F1..But I heard there is no drivers in Nascars or in Indy.. Good that Serena Williams is practicing for Nascar.
When I watch any sport I want my favourite to win. Of course that’s foolish, but the excitement really gets into you...Who ever is the winner is the best on that day. This weekend really got me hooked.”

Tamil Movie- Sivaji the Boss

When I arrived in Chicago I got a call from my brother Abu, he wants me to check where Sivaji is released in Detroit..His boss want to watch that movie...American interested in Tamil movie sounds weird to me..Thanks to Kumar's friends they got tickets for ‘Sivaji-the Boss’ night show.I didnt see this long queue for any movie out here in USA..People seemed to be crazy for Rajnikanth sorry Sivaji Rao.There is Sivaji mania in USA too..The hype and hysteria surrounding the release of Sivaji: the Boss was more or else a hamburg.Many times I was asked by my non-tamil friends why there is always craze for Rajni.I said I have no idea...as I had not been to any of his movies for the first show or first day and never had craze for his movies. I consider hero worship of these fake stars as stupid..Who am I to comment!! The Movie sivaji is not bad , a good entertainment. It is more like Rajni movie then as Sankar's.Vivek presence was plus point ,good for him as he didnt have any movies this year.It had very weak story line-- Sivaji (Rajinikanth) is a NRI, Software Systems Architect who returns home after many years in USA.(sounds like Swadesh). With Rs.200 crore budget he wants to setup a charity educational institution from arts to medical college.( I never knew IT Engineers make this much money in USA)...Adiseshan (Suman) is a politically influential businessman who plots his downfall and Sivaji ends up losing all his money.Adi considers him as beggar and puts alms one rupee coin..with that one Rupee what he does???The rest of the movie revolves around how he starts from scratch to get back his money and resume development of his foundation. Is India Ready for F1 racing???I will definitely say NO for 2009..Being F1 racing fan..I would like to see India on the map of F1 circuit but not in 2009..In 2 yrs we cant mobilize everything to make it successful..Where are the tracks???Is Delhi Airport ready to cater Jumbo planes and the Technical members of the 12 teams which fly with them.Where are the hotels to accommodate the Crowd which follows the F1.Even A1 Organisers felt India not the place for fast tracks..They felt Mexico and Indonesia as better choice.
We need to look at Sepang(Malaysia) and Bahrain...They took time to build the racing tracks and get infrastructure ready before jumping to hoist.Even Abudhabi which is in 2009 calender, was ready with their infrastructure for the last 3 yrs.
IOA President Suresh Kalmadi,is making mess like Sharad parwar did for cricket..We must not forget that Formula one committee can cancel the hoist city anytime, many cities had been cancelled in past.What will happen to the money we spend.India is not rich country to get funds from Finance ministry. In my previous blogs on May 14 ,Feb 11..I had wished the post of Vice-President must be given to a woman..But Congress and Left went a step up and gave the President's chair to a woman.I wish she is elected unopposed. During last President election I hoped they would have appointed woman VP, after Lasksmi Seghal lost to Kalam for President. I dont know anything about the Nominee Pratibha Patil,but from the press we know her as close to Nehru-Gandhi Family..Thank god it was not Najma Heptullah...
I wish they give the post of VP to someone from East..I have great feeling that there are great administrators from 7 sister states Assam,Megalaya,Nagaland,Manipur,Sikkim, Tripura, Mizoram.I dont think it will be good to have K. Anbazhagan as next VP as the outgoing President is from TN.

Great News for UK when Hamilton crossed the final lap of Montreal grand prix..First black to win F1 racing,even to stand in the podium.Lewis Hamilton deserves all praise to finish in the top...He started in the pole position and I was sure he will be the leader..I was not following F1 this year like I had followed for the last 2 yrs..I dont have friends to discuss about it here in USA..But I will be going to Indianapolis next week for the USA grand Prix..Iam flying to Chicago and then by road to Indianapolis.My friends in Dubai will get opportunity only after 2 yrs when Abudhabi circuit starts in 2009..This weekend MONTREAL Grand prix, was bad for Ferrari,they didnt finish in the podium..It is good that no particular team dominate the circuit.. What happened to my Fav driver Kimi???Last year I felt Kimi was right to move to Ferrari from Mclaren...but he has not shown big results with Ferrari..Just the Australian Prix victory..Even Massa had some better podium finishes to justify..It would have been better if he had stayed with Mclaren..Bad year for Alonso toowith Renault he had a good run..Now he is considered as second driver as Hamilton brings the best for the team..also Alonso is Spanish and Mclaren are UK based and will take care of Hamilton well..For USGP I expect Ferrai to finish in the podium..Was it funny to see Super Aguri in the Top 10, that too TSato finished ahead of Alonso..Karthikeyan can approach super Aguri, rather driving A1 and being one of the test drivers for Willams. I read an article which said, most Indians want direct election for the post of President..How can that be??? It sounds crazy....There will dual power struggle between Prime minister and President..As both are elected directly by the People.. I guess they meant USA way of Choosing President..Though we follow Westminister form of Democracy unlike UK there is no Monarch - we have President elected by the elected members of Parliament and state legislature ,also we have multi party system and not two party..To me multi party government is the best for us..It is good to seee small Federal parties having a say at central Government. Horse trading and corruption are part of it..But I see many advantages.
Let us go to USa form of electing President.In USa,The election of president is something different Even if you win more votes you had not won the election.In 2000 Bush got less votes but more electral votes but Gore got more votes.. Are you guys confused????me too..Bush won in Court..Since Jeb Bush is the Governor of florida, Judge was his known guy..After election the President is more like a Dictator. Once he gets elected he doesnt listen to the People, his own party and not even to the elected members in Congress.. He takes his own decision.. National Interest must be supreme in Democracy.But it is not followed here.. He doesnt consult with others. The pillars of Democracy are Parliament,Judiciary and Bureaucrats..Which need to work independently without any one interference.. In USa, President selects the Judges and the Bureaucrats..We cant expect the whole office to be under the president's order. Can you believe it, Robert Kennedy was Attorney General at the age of 32.. Where as in India,bureaucrats need to go up in Hierarchy.. Compared with Democracy in USa, ours is far better..
Look at the situation right now.. 80% of Americans want troops to come back from Iraq, but the President talks of escalation of troops.The congress vote against the president. But he Vetoes it.. Even the Republican Presidential nominees distance from their own leader..This type of Democracy is DEMON-CRAZY ...sounds more like Dictatorship...Many countries follow this kind of presidential form of government and coup is easy to do there.As president has direct control of Armed forces and Administration.

As the cyclone lashes Oman, the world shakes.It is really strange to hear news about cyclone in business report rather it must be in weather news.Oil price Analyst expect crude oil to touch 80 to 85$ per barrel this weekend.How come??? 30% of world crude oil supplies pass through the Strait of Hormuz...Though Oman is not top exporter of Oil,closing of the ports in this region will have major effect in the world oil price..60% of oil to USa pass from this Region(oil from Saudi-Aramco and Kuwait)..I bet there will increase in gas price in USa next week,as the supply will be less.This will have indirect effect on world economy..Beware of high inflation..Talking of Oman,their government must have taken necessary precautions before the cyclone hit the land...Compared to other gulf countries, I see Oman as poor nation..Having visited Oman..I had seen most local Omanis don't live in cities.

I went to Delaware last weekend...My friend wanna do shopping and he asked me to help him..Why to Delaware??? bcos it has no taxes..It is weird to go all the way there to buy stuffs worth for 100 or 150$..to save 10 to 15$..But many people come all the way from Maryland,Newjersy and Pennsylvia for shopping..
When I was waiting for my friend in car park area of the mall..I heard a voice from old lady "Son, can you help me"...Being bored standing in front of the car..I just helped her to walk to the Mall.On the way she saw the Mall security and told him there was no one to respond to her in the car park Area..Before he wants to know what the problem is!!Mall manager was there..He Apologized for the inconvenience caused to her...When I left her in the Mall Entrance there were people around us ..She met some group of Ladies whom she know and told them.."This boy helped me.." pointing her finger at me..Soon the Mall Manager thanked me...All looked at me like Hero..What did I do?????Oh, No..One old man patted me at my back and said--Good Job, Dude.. Hold on..Hold on..I didnt do anything great.. I didnt save anyone's life ,I walked with that old lady for 3 to 4 mins..This news spread all around..Every one whom I met in the Mall..smiled at me...I felt awkward.. for getting credit and being Hero for no reason...

I had heard about the Movie Forrest Gump when it won Oscars..When I was in Niagara, I was surfing the Hotel TV channels and in TBS I saw Forrest Gump.It is rare for me to watch TV when I go to someplace as tourist.But this time I had decided to watch the movie..Forrest Gump I would rate it my top 5 movie I had seen..No actor can bring out the real character like TOM HANKS... Though many talk about him in Cast Away, Apollo 13,Philadelphia,Saving private ryan.Best is Forrest gump..The story follows the life of low I.Q. Forrest Gump and his meeting with the love of his life Jenny.Forrest tells much of the story in flashback to various people he meets while waiting for a bus The film chronicles his accidental experiences with some of the most important people and events in America from the late 1950's through the 1970's including a meeting with Elvis Presley, JFK, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, fighting in Vietnam, etc. He was the culprit for water gate-hee....The problem is, he's too stupid to realize the significance of his actions.It ends with Jenny dieing in AIDs(unknown Virus)Screen writer deserves all praise.....There are some great quotes-(Scenes) which made the movie must to watch.. Trip to Niagara

Last week we(me, Kumar and Feroz) planned to visit Niagara for the long Weekend...Thanks for the memorial Day-Holiday... On 26th May-Saturday,Kumar came to my house at 12:30 PM with Feroz family..I was packed up for the 2 day trip.. We followed the map drove towards Niagara...thanks to google map.. Around 2:30 PM we had Lunch.. somewhere in Allentown..Feroz brought Rice, chicken and vadai stuffs.. I am eating Vadai after long...long..time.. Pennsylvania Roads are so bad.. Newyork state roads are good and they have rest area for each 20 to 30 Miles...We reached Buffalo at 8:00 PM...

Our Hotel was 12miles from Niagara falls..We took rest at our hotel till 10:00PM, and then had dinner and went to bed... Feroz wants to go to Niagara and See the Falls with Lights.. But Kumar was tired... Inside Maid of the Mist..

Next day on -may 27,Sunday We zoomed to Niagara at 9:00 AM, the climate was cloudy and it was drizzling... When we reached Niagara Falls it was again sunny... As kumar had been to Niagara before he was good in taking us around Niagara..Niagara is like India, we can see Indians everywhere.. Very few Americans...where are they.. in Casinos I guess.. Maid of the mist , where the Ferry takes us close to the Niagara falls.. America is cheating.. the Niagara is in the Canada side.. Only America falls is in USa side.. The real beauty of Niagara is from Canada.. I wish I can go to Canada one day..We went to Hotel and took rest for 3 hrs from 4 to 7 PM... again back to Niagara falls for the Falls under lights and Fire works....

We came back to Hotel at 12:30 Mindnight... On 28th May-Monday we started from Buffola at 10:30 AM and Reached Philadelphia at 5:30 PM..I feel sad for kumar bcos he drove all the time...He didnt allow me to control the wheels.. Opps.... I love driving but what to do!!!!!

Those who follow ABC..will be aware of "The Bachelor"... 10th Season has come to the finale today..This show features the bachelor, Andy Baldwin, courting 25 women..He got (married)the Gurl I had supported, Tessa Horst..from the first show...She looked different from others.. She had Asian looks too.. I dont wanna comment more..Lucky is this Pennsylvania guy..The show goes this way... Bachelor eventually selects one of the group to continue their romance. The show begins with a series of group dates, after which female contestants are eliminated until only a handful remain. At this point the contestants begin to go out on individual dates with the bachelor, which, for contestants not eliminated, culminate in overnight dates and meetings between the bachelor and bachelorettes' families. Come on guys... Americans make fun of us, but these guys do blind date in reality show.. It really sounds stupid.. But I envy the Bachelor.. the way he enjoys with soo many Gurls.. Visit to Atlantic City

My college friend Kumar came all the way from Washington DC, to visit me.. We had decided to have great weekend in Atlantic city...We started from Philadelphia at 4:00 PM,as usual I messed up the route and went all over the Drive way of Philadelphia.. We reached Atlantic city at 5:30PM..AC,the Lasvegas of east cost..Poor man's Lasvegas of America.. what ever you call it ...The city has nothing but only casinos.. I heard lots about Trumph Taj Mahal ...so I wanna enter and know what it is all about... We parked the car in Ceaser's car parking area,decided to enter all the Casinos..Hold on, we didnt go to AC to Gamble..we went there to have a look at those casinos!!!!..Kumar was very disappointed as he said it is not even 10% what is in LasVegas.. may be there is no Night clubs,no great restaurants to eat..But it had beach ,there is board walk in the sands..When we walked in the main streets of AC at 11:00 PM,it was empty..that too on Saturday Night... We tried the spin and board games in TajMahal..We didnt expect to make money..as no one has become rich by gambling..But it was fun..Kumar was really bugged when I keep asking him rules for all those games what to do I had not been to Casinos before....Trumph Plaza was better with less crowd.. It was humorous to see those old grandpa's and grandma's... pressing those buttons sitting whole night...We went back to hotel at 12:30 Midnight.. Kumar paid for the hotel... started at 10:30Am on Sunday...we reached Philadelphia 12:00 Noon..

Gambling sucks.. But it was fun to spend time with old friend..

This year I had seen 3 ABCD's(American Born confused Desis) hitting the small screen in Usa..Sanjaya in American Idol,Surya in Apprentianc,Senthil Ramurthy in Heroes..Sanjaya is famous among the thereee.. first he had made USa follow him even after he was voted out..But I rate Senthil ramurthy as the best... The serial Heroes moves around him.. In Usa Televisons anyone with brown skin is projected as Terrorist or office clerk or Cab driver..it looks pathetic to watch serials like that...He is not like Kal penn to just show his face and not open his mouth...In the Channel NBC,the serial HEROES-He is one of the character who posses no power ..Ramamurthy’s character-Mohinder Suresh, plays a young genetics professor at the University of Madras in India whose father’s mysterious disappearance leads him to the realization that there are people with superpowers living among us.His English Accent is real plus point..Indian character in USa talking with Strange accent-mixture of British and American English..In the Apprentice LA 6, Surya Yalamanchili..did a great job but Alas he was not smart like James to blame someone and escape..I dont need to say anything about Sanjaya Malakar....he was a big hit.. Even Britney spears wanna have duet with him..But all these guys are said to be cute by young gurls..

USA Dollar is always seen as the stablest currency in this world.Being an Expat in Dubai and USa, I always convert my salary to Indian rupees..Once I get my salary I check at the exchange rate higher the value happy I will be to send money back home.I always expect the Indian Rupee to be weak compared to Dollar..Iam zero in FOREX.. I get confused how they rate the exchange conversion.. I dont know whether dollar is becomeing weaker or Rupee is getting stronger..Not to forget most Nations also countries in Arabian Peninsula had pegged their currency to Dollar..as 1$=3.68Dhs..When I arrived in Dubai, one Dihrams was 13.80 Indian Rupees.. opps day by day the Rupee become stronger..It indirectly means the salary was decreasing month by month....it used to be funny that comparing with my friends in India, my salary was going down..Same time cost of living in Dubai was also increasing..soon I found I had no saving and had salary to pay my credit card bills.. There are some people like my brother and Jaffer talk of investing in EURO..When I left from Dubai, it was 11.4 Ruppees made 1 DHS..Today When I checked the rate,the rupee breached a nine-year high of Rs 40.53 a dollar..But other currencies like Euro and Pound had no effect...Come on, 6 yrs back everyone expected 1 $ to hit 50INR when it was flactuating between 46 to 46.50 for 1$.. Good for India now, Iam sure Inflation will come down.. may be in 4 to 4.5%.... Bad for Expats like me.. But at the end it makes us Proud to see our currency getting stronger..Bad for Exporters in India as they will get low profit...

My Salary has reached all time low after I arrived in USa.. Time to ask for Increment..

"How men Judge Women are Intelligent"..My answer was -If Woman wear glasses she is intelligent..but like me..only 23% agreed..some said intelligent women wear Pants...woman who dont wear make up are intelligent was the answer too.. Women who dont wear high heels are also judged to be intelligent by small group.... But do you know which got the top answer.. Women who had red hair are judged to me intelligent.. Was that shocking!!!!... I cant believe that.... If same way if Woman judge red hair men are intelligent.... Oppps..where will guys like me who are going bald be labeled as..

Business in USa has 2 poles...Duopoly - Two Business competitors..Only 2 Firms Dominate in any kind of market or Industry..Not like India where Industry is driven by many small vendors..Here it looks more like capitalist market..In economic theory, the conditions necessary for perfect competition are not satisfied..Rich dominate the market and dont allow new Entrepreneurs to Enter the market..Starting from American Politics where Democrates and Republicans had dominated and framed policies..Having their own
secret Agenda which we could see in the latest IRAQ voting..Let us discuss various bussiness houses in this Duopoly market..First comes.. Pepsi Vs Coke then the rest follows...Intel Vs AMD,Walmart vs Kmart,McDonald's vs Burger King,Starbucks vs Dukin Donuts,Tmobile vs Cingular,Sprite vs Verizone,UPS vs Fedex (sorry US postal),Quzinos Vs Subway,Visa vs Master.....I dont understand this kind of bussiness will do any good for an average american...Perfect competition is an economic model in which no producer or consumer has
the market power to influence prices..But these 2 competitors have secret meetings to control the market... Consumers are taken for granted..Why dont the Americans look at Indian kind of competition in Bussiness..

In India in any Bussiness segment there are many players

Weekend in Washington DC

Last weekend, I went to Washington DC.. It is always fun to meet up with my old classmates(Feroz and Kumar) .. On 28th,I arrived in Baltimore to pick up Feroz and his family.. We then zoomed to Washington Dc..I had crossed 5 states in 5 hrs..We had tough time to find Capitol Hill. Google map didnt help us..It took us till 2:30PM to find Parking near Capitol Building... We went straight into Aero-space Museum..It is worth to see the NASA Space crafts and how Wright brothers started building Plane.. Around 8PM Dropped Feroz in his Cousin's place in Virgina had dinner there.I then stayed with Kumar that night in Alexandria,Virgina..

Next day (sunday)we went to White House..alas we couldn't Meet Bush.. latter we sat in Washington monument Lawns..Talked all old stories..Went to History Museum..Started from DC at 2:30PM I dropped Feroz in Baltimore and arrived in Philadelphia at 8:00 P.M..Thanks to Kumar for being Guide in Washington Dc.. He is one of my best friends in College.. He is always humorous, helpful and Humble Guy..He has not changed...still the old Kumar..

SHOOTING by 23 yr old student in Virgina tech university had killed 37.. So sad to the know one of them is Indian origin Professor G V Loganathan.. I had known people from Erode are soft,silent and nice... It is hard to read incident like this.. May his soul rest in peace..My heartfelt condolence to his family members..What answers does USa have to give to his Old parents who had expected USA to be safe place in this world..This is because of American Gun culture.. I wanna tell straight on the face of BUSH..You dont need to go all the way to IRAQ to protect your citizens, you need strict gun laws..to avoid killing like this to happen, where innocents are killed for no mistake of theirs..I dont know why press states Korean was the killer..this creates negative impact on large community of Koreans in USA,as most of them feel there will be black lash on them.. This morning in Radio there was debate going on..whether Richard gere was right to kiss Shila Shetty... I dont really care about that.. News from UAE.. This took me by surprise..Armed roberry in Dubai!!!I cant believe it when I read the news.. gang of four armed men, broke into gold shop in Wafi mall around 9.30pm, in front of many visitors..Stole 54Million Dhs worth of Diamonds..How can incident like this happen.I had roamed around the city at 2:00AM,and I can say it is one of the safest cities in the world.. Even when there was full dubai power outrage, Police surrounded the Gold souk to give security... News from Sharjah..This news gave me a shock and I didnt eat yest night.. One person died after eating in Pak Ghazi-Sharjah because of Food poison.. Oh..my god.. During my inital days i used to eat at Pak Ghazi on all thursday nights..My brother and myself used to go with Kadarsha over there..we used to waste all our time getting for parking just to eat there in sharjah and come back to Dubai around 12 midnight..Even after they opened branches in Dubai.. whenever I go to Deira, I take Jaffer with me to Pak Ghazi...start with Soup..then fried fish..and end with faluda.. those were the days.During my final days in Dubai, I used to go with Melwyn to the Bur Dubai branch..I can say Pak Ghazi was my Fav Restraunt...where I really enjoyed eating any of their dishes.. Iam sure, my brother,Jaffer,Melwyn must be following about this...Please update me about the Lab report taken from food samples there.. Kadarsha, Read my blog and know what is happening in UAE...so next time you go to Sharjah you need to avoid these places.

Though I dont enjoy watching TV, I like to watch some TV shows.. in that first comes "The Apprentice 6"... I admire Donald Trump, he has so much confidence in himself.. Some call him Arrogant..But being Business man he is ready to take risk and makes sure he is successful....I need more space to write about him.I admire many qualities of him and how to make money in short time...Forget Miss.World episode..Rosie, Iam sorry for being pro-Trump..Staying in Philadelphia When I pass through Wharton business school it reminds me of Trump.. He is someone who had never been afraid of Failures..Coming to the TV show --The Apprentice.. In the final Show as everyone expected ..Frankie and Nichol were fired ...The last two will be James and Stefani..and they gonnaa fight who will be Hired for Trump... I expected James sun to be hired, he was in good books of Trumph and Stepnie was never project manager...But at the end, she came out with full force...Who can win over a lawyer????..that too defence Attorney for a large organisation in California... Her words were to the point..She agreed she was always in backstage but made sure she contributed something to the team whether the team won or lost.. No one had blamed her... But why she had never come forward to take PM post....that made her never to be seen in Radar...She proved in words she is the driving force for her team...Yes, to be smartest you dont need to be loudest.. This made James look small... He always talked of American dream... Come on man...Your words were like only Koreans dream Big.. He boasted myself coming penniless without knowing english and being big Entrepreneur holding an IT company...In most shows, he blamed someone and diverted from his failures... My favourite was Heidi... SO..sad she was fired... Suraya messed up there.. When Trump asked him, who he thinks he must hire...he said Sanjaya the American Idol rejected... Lucky was Frankie to come all the way to final 4..he must have been fired in the very first show.... Like many I too agree Stefani to be best Apprentice 6 for Trump....She will be flying to Caribbean to look after the Trump construction..for the salary of 250 Thousad. Any body still following American Idol....!!!!!!!

Journey of my Life

Last week I visited my friend Ferozkhan, he stays in Maryland with his family.. I was telling him how tough I face life in USA.Strange but true I am the last guy to come down to USa among my classmates, many are here for long time did their MS.Coming to USa was not my dream at all..But being Software Engineer you need to work in US to have future successful career..During my days in India.. I can hear among my Engineering classmates....." I want to go to America ". This phrase encapsulates the career plans of almost all youngsters. It is not an unreasonable target, as most of them are successful in achieving the target. The formula is simple, finish a four-year professional course, write the exams GRE and TOEFL, get an admission in an American University , get a visa and finally book a ticket. If you cant do that way...H1 B visa is always there to come down to USa..During my final year in engineering, I was more interested in doing MBA.. I wrote all most all top MBA entrance exams like CAT.. But I didnt get through any.. But I prepared hard and went one step ahead in preparing group discussion..Soon I felt i had no clue about my future plans.when I decided to jump into Software and I got struck.. thanks to my DAD, he gave me strength to face the world.. I had lot of failures during that time.I need to thank my dad for having much confidence on me, when everyone washed off their hands..After working 3 yrs in Dubai.I decided to stay with my parents and work in India,but as time passes our parents want us to be successful so they want us to go anywhere ...USA is the place to prove ..Life in USA makes me mentally tough then I was in Dubai, may be I dont have relatives here, I face realities from the moment, I set foot in America..As life move ahead I need to face twists -->turns and proceed.I learn almost all things the hard way..The biggest challenge that I had faced is the insecurity of being in a foreign land. I cannot expect my dad's wide arms to cushion me every time I fall. I now realise suddenly that the mother, who bore all my emotional insecurities, is a million miles away. I don't even know if they are really happy, because they never let me know.They want us to be happy with our careers, they take care never to express their will, least it may distract us from our goals. Pure logic would suggest that after years of nurturing, no living thing would be happy separated. An eagle may push its child over the cliff, only because it wants its child to start flying, after the child is independent, the eagle still secretly yearns for the child to depend upon it.

My life journey towards my destination which Iam not aware of....It gives me
pleasure to learn new things in a hard way...

I dont know how many Indians are proud to project themselves as Indians in USA.. I do feel, Indians are looked down everywhere in USa.... The saddest part is fellow Indians here look at us with contempt.. When I go to Indian restaurant he gives the worst treatment, may be I dont tip him..if I go to Indian Grocery he doesnt care about me..When I walk to office, one Afro-American who distributes some advt papers(fliers) ....shouts at me " You Indian take this "... I dont go in his side of platform at all..Opps I cant reply at him back ..You N**** I dont want that... I was really angry at myself as I cant hide my brown skin..
Yesterday When i went to the Indian Grocery, shop owner asked me something in Hindi or urudu... As I dont know Hindi..I replied back.. "Can you tell me in English as I dont know Hindi"...he asked me back..Are you not from India.. I turned around..and said in Low Voice... " Iam Malaysian"...he smiled at me... He gave me good treatment..and gave me 2 samosas freee...Umm... Being Malaysian carries weight.... This morning, I walked with my chin up.. I starred that Afro-American...Before he can open his mouth.. I told him... " Listen Dude.. Iam not Indian.. Iam Malaysian.." and Put a fake smile at him.. I dont think he will make fun of me again..
I gonna project this to everyone.. I need to be careful who knows this can back fire..

Every IT professionals dream is to work in USA.. Those Working outside US consider working in US carries weight age in their career ladder.. I was not lucky like most of my Classmates in college to do MS in Us of A...But I too joined the wagon to come down to US to see what working in US is all about.Iam part of H1 B coolie out here in USA..On April 2nd the US Citizenship and Immigration Services opened the counter for application to H1 B.. On 4th April USCIS announced that it has received enough H-1B petitions to meet the cap of 65,000 for fiscal year 2007-08. This is the first time that the cap is reached on the first day of receiving the applications on April 2. Last year, the H1- B visa applications took two months before the cap was reached on May 26. In 2005, the visa numbers lasted till September. There was not much demand for the visa in the first three months in 2005. People who want to file regular H1- B visas have to wait till April next year, unless the Congress increases the numbers in the immigration bill now under its consideration.Since the number of applications received was already more than double the limit, the Immigration Service Office decided to use computers to randomly pick visa recipients from the applications received, the first time that a lottery system is being used to pick H1B candidates..Lucky are the guys who did MS or MBA here in USa,the quota for them is set as 20,000 which is yet to be reached.

Mercer Human Resource Consulting released the list of 2007 World-wide quality of living survey with Zurich and Geneva coming 1st and 2nd..It looks Swiss is the best place in this world...Though the list is based on detailed assessments and evaluations of 39 key points..The first category is Political and social environment..Looking at crime, I dont think Chicago deserves to be ranked 44th... Most of cities in US are prone for Crime and Violence compared to the cities in India or Arabian peninsula..Chennai is 177 and Dubai is in 80th.. Being Expat in UAE and USA, I would compare life back home to life abroad..This list is for not for common man like me..Who prefers safety to individual more then the best night club in city..I would use my own yardstick to valuate a city for quality of living.. There is difference between Quality of Living vs. the quality of life..I would prefer a city with good Quality of Living which can make me happy rather then with a city with Quality of Life which would make someone happy...
